Nagar Pyan Tea Enterprise was founded in the year 1980 as a family business. Its founder is U Saw Lwin whose passion for tea and over 40 years experience are remarkable asset, that contribute to the success and development of Nagar Pyan Tea. Through his initiation and guidance, Thuriya Win Company Limited was established in the year 2006 with set objectives:

  To develop the agriculture and manufacturing sectors through investment which is now in progress

  To promote the sale internationally, thereby creating more jobs

  Part revenues from the success of the company shall be shared by both the workers and the community

Thuriya Win Co., Ltd. was the first Myanmar tea company to be awarded the internationally recognized ISO 9001:2008 and GMP quality certificates. The company has since continued to thrive and has risen swiftly to prominence. It is a leading company in Myanmar tea industry, covering 25% share of domestic tea market. It has a workforce of 250 and the annual handling capacity is 4 million Kg. The company firmly believes that in a truly sustainable economy, the aspects of environmental, social and economic commitments must advance together.
